Scabaras' Shallows lie off the south-eastern coast of the Kharidian Desert. It connects to Uzer Channel to the north, the Strait of Discord to the east, the Tainted Tides to the south-east, and The Iron Sea to the south.
Along its shores can be found Nardah and the Ruins of Ullek. Unnamed islands are to the south-west, near the Jaltevas Pyramid, and east, between Scabaras' Shallows and the Tainted Tides.

Trivia
- In the March 2025 Sailing Alpha, "Scabaras' Shallows" was used only for the small inlet between the Jaltevas Pyramid and the Ruins of Ullek, containing two unnamed islands. Other portions of the area were called "The Scorpion's Tail" (the long peninsula near the Ruins of Ullek) and "Nardah Beach" (the coast near Nardah). In the June 2025 Sailing Beta, "Scabaras' Shallows" was moved to refer to the entire area, with the other labels being removed.
- In the March 2025 Sailing Alpha, the unnamed island to the east was named Roger's Recluse. This name was removed from the June 2025 Sailing Beta onward.
