V's Belt

V's Belt is part of the Northern Ocean, between Jatizso, Miscellania, and Waterbirth Island.

Charting activates reward various amounts of Sailing experience, with significant bonus experience for completing every charting task in any given sea or ocean.

• 20 March 2025 - 26 March 2025 (Kanzje Current in the March 2025 Sailing Alpha)

• In the March 2025 Sailing Alpha, the area of ocean specifically between the Fremennik Isles and Miscellania was named "Kanzje Current". This label was removed and "V's Belt" was added in the June 2025 Sailing Beta.
  • "Kanzje" may have been intended to sound like "can't say", in keeping with the names of Jatizso ("ja, 'tis so") and Neitiznot ("nay, 'tis not") nearby. While this particular pun was removed, the name of Kannski Tides maintains the tradition. (meaning "perhaps" in Norwegian)
