Cider is a type of ale that restores 1 Hitpoint and temporarily boosts Farming by 1 while draining Attack and Strength by 2. It can be obtained through brewing at level 14 Cooking granting 182 experience. It is brewed using 4 apple mush and a pot of ale yeast. During brewing there is a chance to instead create the stronger mature cider.

Upon drinking the cider, the chatbox will state You drink the cider. You feel slightly reinvigorated... ...and slightly dizzy too.

Sleve McDichael can change the name of one's boat to a random, new name for a price of 1 cider. Ironmen can quickly stockpile Cider at The Rolling Tide, as the bartender is only 16 tiles from a Bank Deposit Box.

Creation

Steps
1. Use 4 apple mush on the fermenting vat
2. Use 1 ale yeast on the fermenting vat
3. Wait 1 days until the cider has fermented
4. Use 8 beer glasses on the completed cider in the fermenting vat
