The chef's delight barrel can be built in the barrel space of the kitchen in a player-owned house. It requires 48 Construction and 44 Cooking to build and gives 224 experience when built. The player must have a hammer and a saw in their inventory to build it.

Calquat kegs of chef's delight or chef's delight (m) may NOT be substituted for beer glasses during the construction process.

The barrel, used with an empty beer glass, supplies the player with an unlimited amount of chef's delight. The beer cannot be taken outside of a player-owned house.
