The cushioned basket can be built in the cat basket space of the kitchen in a player-owned house. It requires 33 Construction to build and gives 58 experience when built. The player must have a hammer and a saw in their inventory to build it.

Cats, kittens, pet rocks , or Humphrey Dumphrey belonging to anyone can rest on the blanket. When exiting house via portal, the pet sleeping on the basket will come to the player. To place the pet on the cushioned basket, the player must pick it up and use it on the blanket. Pet rocks will remain in the basket even if the player leaves.

Cats must be picked up during building mode.
