The firepit can be built in the stove space of the kitchen in a player-owned house. It requires 5 Construction to build and gives 40 experience when built. The player must have a hammer and a saw in their inventory to build it.

Players can prepare food on the firepit using the Cooking skill, but they cannot make any of the types of tea usually made in a player-owned house — for this a firepit with hook or higher is required.
