A bank chest is an island amenity that allows quick access to a player's bank account. They can be built with 70 Construction by interacting with the bank chest spaces on The Onyx Crest, Charred Island, Sunbleak Island, Buccaneers' Haven, Deepfin Mine beneath Deepfin Point, and in Sangvesti on Vampyrium. As this amenity requires a saw, a Crystal saw may be used as early as 67 Construction . Less reliably, a crystal saw may be combined with Spicy stew to build this amenity at 62 Construction .

Obtaining all materials without trading (i.e., as an ironman) requires the following skills to obtain cupronickel bars:

• 62 Sailing to access Wyrmscraig for nickel rocks
• 74 Mining to mine nickel rocks
• 74 Smithing to smelt cupronickel bars

There are several ways to obtain the ironwood logs to turn into ironwood planks, each with different skill requirements:

• Chop an ironwood tree, requiring 80 Woodcutting . Access an ironwood tree by one of the following:
  • Travel to Sunbleak Island, requiring 72 Sailing and 59 Construction for an adamant helm.
  • Obtain an ironwood seed and plant it in a hardwood patch with 80 Farming .
• Collect and sort martial salvage, requiring 73 Sailing and 59 Construction for an adamant helm.
