Amenities
Vampyrium has a buildable bank chest, similar to the ones in Sailing. The following items are needed to build it:
Long ago, Vampyrium was visited by the godZaros, who taught the then tribal vampyres of society and culture, and thus laid foundation to the vampyric society.[2] With Zaros's teachings, the vampyres eventually became the dominant species of the planet, their organisation and cooperation making them able to outmatch their Yarasa competitors.
Eight Vampyre Houses were formed from the tribes, and Lowerniel Drakan, head of the newly formed House Drakan, was quick to gain power, co-opting the neighboring houses by draining their leaders of their blood. House Drakan became the prevailing power on Vampyrium,[3] with most of the others submitting to its rule while rivals that resisted, such as the Alzeph and Pyrah Houses, were wiped out.[4][5]
In the Second Age of Gielinor, Zaros once more returned to Vampyrium and requested the vampyres to join him and contribute to the Zarosian Empire. Many vampyres left the world to join Zaros, including the most prominent leaders of the various Vampyre Houses.[6] Any remaining vampyres on the planet were likely killed by the numerous predators or reverted into a feral state, except for one - Sugadinti Vitur, who was assisted by his numerous aranei followers.
Millennia later, Lord Drakan, who had since rebelled against Zaros, conquered Hallowvale and waged numerous wars against other kingdoms, returned to Vampyrium, utilising Efaritay Hallow's blood.[1] He hunted down Xarpus, the King and last of the yarasa, which he brought back to Gielinor to be used as a beast in the Theatre of Blood. When Efaritay escaped and he ran out of her blood, he was no longer able to return to Vampyrium until Safalaan Hallow was captured during Sins of the Father.
