Essiandar's notes

*These notes seem to have been written by Essiandar Gar. They start out as a diary written in daily, but they become more scarce and hastily written as time goes on, eventually coming to a total stop shortly before the Salve was blessed.*

We've made it through another day, and pushed those foul vampyres back once more. They've retreated back past the river, and they're weaker now than we've ever seen them before... Still, I've no doubt they see us as the same. The constant uphill battle has been tiring, and we can only keep pushing for so much longer.

However this fight goes, we must secure the river and ensure it can never be breached again by these unholy forces. That in itself is sure to be... a challenge, to say the least.

Fortunately, Iriandul still has a trusty steed at the ready. While we've been setting up camp for the night, he has ridden west once more to gather supplies. He is lucky. It has been a long time since the rest of us have seen true civilisation, and it may well be that we never will again.
