The Sunspear is a two-handed spear given as a reward after completion of The Blood Moon Rises quest. Originally created by Queen Efaritay Hallow, the Sunspear was her weapon of choice, made from blisterwood and pure silvthrill.^[1] It was taken by Lowerniel Drakan after his conquest of Hallowvale, where he would wield it as his own weapon until his death. If lost, the item can be retrieved from Efaritay's Supplies in Castle Drakan for 100,000 coins.

It is a silver weapon and can thus deal full damage to vampyres of all tiers, while also giving a 25% accuracy bonus and 50% damage bonus against them. Its special attack, Seeking Lunge, is made to specialise as a consistent finisher on opponents.

This item counts as a Saradominist item in the God Wars Dungeon, and deals full damage as a Corpbane weapon.

The Sunspear has a special attack, Seeking Lunge, which consumes 50% of the player's special attack energy. On a successful hit, Seeking Lunge will always deal 70% of its maximum hit as damage. For example, if the player's maximum hit is 50, Seeking Lunge will deal 35 damage. If the target's health is below that amount, Seeking Lunge will roll with exactly 70% of its maximum accuracy. This fixed 70% accuracy roll guarantees a hit if your normal accuracy against the enemy is at least 65%.

Seeking Lunge also has a unique interaction with venators; if it is used to deal the finishing blow to a venator, they will drop a venator heart in addition to their usual loot. The heart can be sacrificed on an aranei shrine to restore 50% special attack energy and up to 24 prayer points.
