Silverlight is a magical sword used in Demon Slayer and Shadow of the Storm. It is a demonbane sword that is very effective against demonic creatures. As it is a silver weapon, it is also effective against most vampyres. It is obtained by bringing the three Silverlight keys to Sir Prysin during Demon Slayer.
In Demon Slayer, it is used to defeat Delrith. In Shadow of the Storm, it is dyed black using black dye, and later transforms into Darklight when it gets stained with the blood of Agrith-Naar.
It can be mounted on the wall in the quest hall of a player-owned house.

Passive effect
Against non-demonic enemies, Silverlight is a fairly weak weapon with bonuses equivalent to that of a steel longsword with a lower strength bonus and a small, additional Magic Defence bonus. When using Silverlight to fight against demonic monsters, the player's maximum hit and accuracy are increased by 60%.[1] Silverlight also counts as a piece of silver weaponry, and can therefore damage tier 2 vampyres, while gaining a 10% damage bonus against tier 1 vampyres.
Drop tricking
Duplicates can be drop tricked for free by talking to Sir Prysin to obtain another during Demon Slayer. After completion of Demon Slayer, and prior to completion of Shadow of the Storm, replacement copies of Silverlight can be obtained at Sir Prysin for 500 coins. After completion of Shadow of the Storm, members can only purchase replacement copies of the Darklight from Sir Prysin, which requires being on a members world and 1,000 coins to pay for it. Silverlights can still be reclaimed from Sir Prysin, but only in free-to-play worlds without an active membership subscription and without any variation of Silverlight in their bank or inventory, except for Arclight and Emberlight, which do not count as "silverlights." Attempting to reclaim it on free-to-play world with an active membership yields a message directing the player to login to a members world.
The dyed black version of the sword can be created at any point during or after The Golem, provided the player obtained multiple Silverlight swords using the drop trick. Warning: Dying a Silverlight black always deletes all other copies of the sword found in your inventory. However, it is possible to obtain and keep multiple Silverlights before proceeding with the dyeing. This can be achieved by using the drop trick technique, banking the additional copies, equipping one and dyeing the other, or by mounting it in a player-owned house at level 42 Construction. Alternatively, if a Silverlight is dyed during or after The Golem, but before talking to Father Reen to start Shadow of the Storm, he will give the player a non-dyed Silverlight, leaving the player with both versions. Evil Dave will not let the player join the summoning ritual during Shadow of the Storm if the player has both versions with them.
Upon completing Shadow of the Storm, only the currently equipped Silverlight is converted into Darklight, any additional non-dyed or dyed Silverlights remain as they were.

Trivia
- According to the Varrock Museum, Silverlight is made out of magically treated steel, despite its name and ability to damage vampyres implying it is made from silver.[2]
- A similar sword is described in the Bloody diary, having been created by Cam Torum dwarves out of bane ore and tuned specifically to harm demons.[3]
- Just like how Silverlight is stained by the blood of Agrith Naar, the sword described in the diary is stained black after its wielder used it to kill a powerful demon capable of summoning torrential rainstorms.[4]
- In the non-canon God letters, Guthix claimed that he endowed Silverlight with power.[5]
- Both the non-dyed and dyed version of Silverlight can be used to kill Agrith-Naar to convert it to Darklight. This is because the dye was only to make it so Evil Dave would think that it is an "evil" weapon and allow the player to bring it with them.
