Delrith

Delrith is a Zamorakian^[1] demon summoned by dark wizards from a stone table during the Demon Slayer quest. Delrith is relatively easy to kill and players can evade the wizards if they take their time. Low-levelled players should exercise caution, however as the wizards will deal significant damage against them.

All damage dealt to Delrith is doubled when Silverlight is equipped.^[2] Ring of recoil damage will therefore always inflict 2 on Delrith when he lands a successful hit on the player. When using a ring of recoil to lower Delrith's hitpoints, it's not necessary to deal any damage to him directly in order to finish the quest; you must simply have Silverlight equipped.

Additionally, by wielding Silverlight, mages can manually cast spells to quickly finish him off.

150 years ago, a cult of chaos druids summoned Delrith. Immediately after being summoned, he was confronted by Wally, the ancestor of Sir Prysin, who defeated Delrith with the powerful weapon known as Silverlight and sealed him in the stone table.

In the present day during the events of Demon Slayer, Denath (later revealed to be the demon Agrith-Naar) and his group of dark wizards successfully freed Delrith, only for him to be defeated by Silverlight and sealed away once more- this time by the player.

• In the third Postbag from the Hedge, it is joked that Delrith was so weak and did not attack Varrock during the quest because he was embarrassed by his not wearing any clothes.^[3]
• The Demon butler used to serve Delrith as a personal valet.
• The Zamorak version of the medium statue that can be built in the player-owned house depicts Delrith as his original model. This is revealed by the config name of the statue being poh_statue_delrith.
