A mounted Excalibur can be built in the sword space of the quest hall in a player-owned house. It requires 42 Construction and Merlin's Crystal completed to build and gives 194 experience when built. The player must have a hammer and a saw in their inventory to build it.

Note: When the mounted sword object is destroyed, the sword is returned. If the quest hall room is removed with the mounted sword object still in place, Excalibur will not be returned.
