The blurite sword is a longsword quest item used only in The Knight's Sword. It requires 1 Attack to wield, and is obtained by giving a blurite ore and two iron bars to Thurgo after showing him a portrait of the sword.
The blurite sword has the same attack and defence bonuses as a steel longsword with the strength bonus of an iron longsword. It is slightly worse than Silverlight. Because of this and the fact that there is no Attack level needed to wield it, the blurite sword is sought by some lower level players at the start of the game.
Duplicates of the sword can be obtained by bringing Thurgo an extra blurite ore and two iron bars. During the quest, any swords must be drop tricked to obtain duplicates, but this is not necessary after quest completion.

Trivia
- The Blurite sword had a missing section in the hilt's grip above the player's hand and just below the crossguard. This has since been fixed.
- It was called the 'Faladian Knight's sword' in RuneScape Classic.
- It is the only blurite equipment that the player is unable to smith on their own. Additionally, the other equipment is made using blurite bars, but Thurgo smiths this sword from iron bars and unrefined blurite ore.
