Scruffy notebook

*This book appears to have belonged to Derygull Templeton and was used to document his day to day life, from times back home right up to the day he died. Most of it seems to be of little relevance, but one bit looks like it could at least be of passing interest.*

The days are getting longer... but sadly, not the daylight. To think, my family were saving a seat for me at the table, thinking I'd be back after a week. We left on a bad foot, but I hope that they know I'd be home in an instant if I could.

Alas, home is an almost strange concept now. It's been so long since we set out on this mission... So much has changed since then. Sarl had barely been initiated. Heck, Essiandar still had some brown in her now totally white hair. Look at us all now.

It feels like the end may finally be near though. I hope that is the case. If we don't succeed soon, I fear for what must come next.
