The Enchanted Valley is a hidden realm that is only accessible by fairy ring, using code BKQ. When a player first appears in the valley, they will be standing behind a waterfall, and from here, they can follow an incline down into the valley. Scattered throughout the area are trees, rocks, and fishing spots, although they cannot be used for skilling; attempting to gather resources from these spots will spawn the now-discontinued guardians that formerly spawned via random events.

To the west of the waterfall is an inconspicuous bush, where a master STASH unit can be built. This unit stores a dragon axe for an emote clue in Treasure Trails.

Prior to the 2014 random event update, aggressive random events, known as guardians, used to appear when players were training gathering skills. While the events are now discontinued, some of the guardians can now be found in the valley, and will spawn if players try to mine, fish, or woodcut.

Trees in the valley will spawn the tree spirit, fishing spots in the river will spawn a river troll, and rocks will spawn an aggressive rock golem. The levels and maximum hits of the guardians scale based on the player's combat level:

Combat experience gained from fighting guardians is greatly reduced compared to normal monsters, providing only 2.5% of the regular amount. Players will still receive the full base experience for casting combat spells within the Enchanted Valley.

In addition to the guardians, the valley contains the Wood Dryad and two centaurs, as well as attackable rabbits and stags. Unlike the guardians, the stags and rabbits will provide combat experience at the regular rate if attacked.

During the Song of the Elves quest, the player uses a crystal seed to travel to a cliff in the southern part of the valley, where they will find a mysterious figure. The figure, described as having "an otherworldly air about him," is revealed to be Lord Ieuan Amlodd, who can be found in Prifddinas following quest completion.

• Despite the climate of the region, the area is surrounded by a thick concentration of trees resembling arctic pines.
• Interestingly, despite the trees being un-choppable by players, several stumps are scattered throughout the valley.
• The Evil Chicken, the Shade, and the Zombie, the other three guardians, do not spawn in the valley; the Evil Chicken is now found in the Champions' Guild, and the latter two can be found in the lowest level of the Stronghold of Security.
• Prior to the release of Song of the Elves, stags could only be found in the valley.
• As with many Fairy Ring accessible locations, players can discard their Dramen or Lunar staff here and lose the ability to leave using that transport system; however, they will always have access to the Home teleport spell and cannot be soft-locked.
