River fishing spots can be found in the Streambound Cavern in Neypotzli and in Vampyrium, and can be fished at for raw bream and leechfins respectively. River fishing spots require aligning your net in the stream with where the fish are coming from to catch the most fish.

Bream will always be caught if they swim into your net, whereas leechfin have a chance of slipping past the net.

After 30 seconds of fishing without the player clicking on the fishing spot, you will time out and need to click again on the fishing spot.

  • Fishing experience given for every leechfin caught has been increased from 31.5 to 33.2.
  • Fishing experience given is now affected by the Angler's outfit.
  • Cooking experience given for cutting leechfin into blood sacs has been increased from 2 to 20.
  • The chance of receiving a blood sac from cutting leechfin has been increased by 20%.

Whilst fishing, aligning the net with the stream now guarantees one raw bream, with two being received if the player passes the skilling success roll.
