Fishing spots can be found in Karamja. These spots are used to fish raw karambwanji which are used as bait in order to fish raw karambwans and can also be used to make karambwanji paste. If the player has a full inventory and at least one slot containing karambwanji, they will no longer catch shrimp and only catch karambwanji.

The amount of karambwanji caught depends on the player's Fishing level, increasing every five levels. The exact formula is , meaning players with a Fishing level of 95 or above will catch 20 karambwanji at a time, and boosting beyond 99 will result in 21 karambwanji caught per catch.

• Prior to an update, catching raw shrimps at this spot produced a different game message from shrimps caught elsewhere. Here, it said You catch some shrimp. while everywhere else it said You catch some shrimps. After the update, all spots (except the ones on Tutorial Island) now say You catch some raw shrimps.
