Stymphikes are a Hunter bird that require 82 Hunter to catch, granting 1,350 Hunter experience. They are located in Vampyrium, requiring completion of The Blood Moon Rises to access.
In order to catch stymphikes, player must have either makeshift spears or hunter's spears equipped or in their inventory. They must also have some letvek, to bait a stymphike tree.

Strategy
Starting at 82 Hunter, stymphikes become a low-effort way to train the skill, with players only needing to click 3 times every 45 seconds.
- First, click on the stymphike trees to bait it with 1-3 letvek. While only one letvek is needed to bait the tree, multiple will often be used, indicated by the messages if two are used, or if three are used.
- Immediately after baiting the tree, click on the nearby bush to hide in it. You must click on the bush to hide, or the stymphike will not spawn. While hiding in the bushes, the player will periodically make luring calls for the stymphike, granting 125 experience each time.
- Players will lure a total of three times before the stymphike spawns, assuming they click the bush immediately after baiting the tree.
- After roughly 65 game ticks (39 seconds) a stymphike will appear. The player can either click on the stymphike to spear it, or wait for the character to peek out from the bush and spear it automatically.
- Stymphikes have 10 hitpoints; if you alert the stymphike, you will fail to one-shot it, and only 6 damage will be dealt, giving two-thirds of the full experience (891) instead. If the stymphike notices a player, it will turn towards it, and a will appear above its head.
- As soon as the experience drop appears, click on the tree to bait it, then click on the bush again to hide in it. Players who are "AFK-ing" can turn on sound effects to wait for a scratching sound to switch back to the game window.
- Where the feathers drop depends on the player's location; if the stymphike's death animation completes before the player clicks out from the bush, the feathers will drop one tile diagonally to the south-east. If the player clicks "bait" on the tree before the death animation completes, the loot will drop on the tile with the purple shrub, underneath the player.
Rates
With no missed spears, players can theoretically kill 83 stymphikes an hour while collecting feathers, peeking out 3 times before each bird appears. This results in a theoretical maximum of 1,245 feathers an hour, and 143,175 experience.
| Level | Experience | Feathers |

| 85 | 130k | 1,000 |

Trivia
- Stymphikes are said to impale their prey on the spiked branches of stymphike trees. This is the behaviour of real life shrikes, which they are likely named after.
- The name Stymphike might also be inspired by the man-eating Stymphalian birds from Greek mythology.
- Upon release it was possible to shoot and get the 1,350 experience drop twice by manually clicking to attack the bird after shooting the first shot. This was hotfixed the next day.
- Multiple pieces of pre-release concept art refer to the birds as Strymphikes rather than Stymphikes.
