Hunting technique

The hunting technique is the same as for other salamanders. Players must bring a rope and small fishing net for each net trap they plan to set up, and take care to avoid desert heat – there are three waterskin(4) spawns near the Necropolis Hunter area. Clicking on a young tree will set the trap. Players can use the same rope and net over and over to catch multiple creatures. Marrentill tar can be used as bait.

When hunting in the southern Uzer Hunter area players can expect an hourly experience rate around 49,000 at level 50 hunter.

Multiple traps

Net trapping can be done with multiple traps at once, with the maximum amount of traps depending on the player's Hunter level.
