The guild hunter outfit is a skilling outfit that, when the full set is worn, increases the catch rate of hunter creatures by 2.5% as well as the chance of receiving rare creature parts from Hunters' Rumours by 5%. In addition, wearing the outfit lowers the pity threshold of receiving a rare creature part.

Whether the 2.5% catch rate increase is additive or multiplicative is unknown as it is a minimal difference at higher Hunter levels.

A piece of the outfit is obtained at a rate of 1/50 from any tier above basic of hunters' loot sacks, which are awarded upon completing Hunters' Rumours. Outfit pieces are received in order of headwear, top, legs, boots. Duplicate pieces can be obtained while in possession of the full outfit, although the order of pieces will be random.

The guild hunter outfit can be stored in the armour case space in a player-owned house as well as in the huntsman's kit.

Duplicate pieces can be given to Verity for a supply loot sack. This can be opened to get an item from the master loot sack drop table, excluding uniques such as Quetzin, the huntsman's kit, and other pieces of the guild hunter outfit.

Optimisations and mechanics

While any single piece is equipped, the pity threshold on a rumour is rounded down. If all four set pieces are owned, equipping any single piece grants the set bonus of 1%.

The disproportionate benefit to the first set piece equipped allows players the option of replacing other set slots with weight-reducing clothing or transportation gear.
