The angler boots are obtained from aerial fishing by purchasing it from Alry the Angler for a price of 100 Molch pearls or acquired randomly from completing a game of Fishing Trawler. The boots grant 0.2% bonus Fishing experience. A Fishing level of 34 is required to wear it. The angler boots are 1 of 4 pieces of the angler's outfit.

When a player receives it from the Fishing Trawler minigame, a message in the chat box states The luck of the sea is in today. You spot a piece of fishing gear caught up in the netting!

The angler boots can be changed into the spirit angler boots by giving it and 1,200 spirit flakes to Gita Prymes. The only difference between the angler's outfit and spirit angler's outfit is that wearing the full spirit angler's outfit acts as a rope for tethering to totem poles and masts while battling Tempoross.

This item can be stored in the armour case of a costume room, as part of the Angler's outfit set. Ultimate Ironmen will be unable to retrieve individual pieces until the full set is stored. It can also be stored in a tackle box.
