Rock-shell helm

Fremennik armour includes several types of armour that are obtained within the Fremennik Province. There are several different categories of Fremennik armour, focused around the different combat styles.

Waterbirth Dungeon sets

Three sets of Fremennik armour correspond with one of the three combat classes. They can be obtained bringing specific raw materials and a certain number of normal Dagannoth hides to a specific person in Rellekka. Although these raw materials have no requirements to be gathered, having these armours made requires the completion of the The Fremennik Trials quest. Some pieces can only be obtained from monsters in the Waterbirth Dungeon, while some of the monsters in the dungeon can also be found elsewhere. The craftable pieces can also directly be obtained as drops from the Dagannoth Kings. These sets include the Rockshell armour (Melee), made by Skulgrimen, Spined armour (Ranged), made by Sigli the Huntsman and Skeletal armour (Magic), made by Peer the Seer.

A helm requires one hide and 5000 coins, leg armour requires two hides and 7500 coins and body armour requires three hides and 10,000 coins. Gloves and boots are dropped as gloves and boots and do not need to be made by an NPC. Below are the tables with all the required materials.

Insular armour

Some armour becomes available after starting The Fremennik Isles quest, and is associated with the islands Jatizso and Neitiznot. This includes Yak-hide armour, Neitiznot shields and the Helm of Neitiznot; The latter is also considered to be a Fremennik helmet.

The Yak armour The body and legs can be made by bringing yak hides obtained by killing yaks on Neitiznot to Thakkrad Sigmundson, an assistant to Mawnis Burowgar on Neitiznot. It will cost 5gp per hide you wish to cure and you will need a needle and thread to make it into Yak hide armour. Making the Neitiznot shield requires a hammer, a bronze nails, a rope, and two arctic pine logs. To make it, bring the materials to the centre of Neitiznot and use the logs on the woodcutting stump. The Helm of Neitiznot is obtained after the quest that also unlocks these armours.
