Aranea boots are a pair of boots dropped by araxytes. With no requirements to wear, they are currently the best-in-slot boots for one-defence pures and zerkers, due to the tribrid stats they have, with a ranged attack bonus between that of mixed hide boots and blessed dragonhide boots, a magic attack bonus equal to infinity boots, and a melee strength bonus equal to dragon boots.

The boots have a special web-negating mechanic that allows players to pass through webs in various locations without the need of a slash weapon. Additionally, the boots also negate certain special attacks once every 8 ticks (4.8 seconds) from arachnid bosses; when this occurs, a game message will state Your Aranea boots let you avoid the spider-based attack. The exception to this is Araxxor's venom cleave, which can be negated only once every 6 attacks, so every 12 seconds (20 ticks).

The following bosses can have their spider-based attacks negated:

• Sarachnis' sticky web attack
• Venenatis and Spindel's draining webs (The first tick is the only part of this ability negated)
• Araxxor's venom cleave during his enrage phase
• Araxxor's ranged auto attack; the magic auto attack is not negated.
• Verzik Vitur's snapping webs during phase 3

If players are on a Slayer task for spiders or araxytes, the drop rate of aranea boots is improved from 1/4,000 to 1/1,600 or 1/2,000 to 1/800 depending on the araxyte's combat level.
