Morytania Only is a grandmaster combat achievement which requires the player to complete a Theatre of Blood run using only Barrows brothers weapons, barring the Dawnbringer.
Strategy
Players will be limited to Barrows weapons for their run. Non-barrows armour is permitted, though every room will be a significant struggle due to the slow speed and damage output of Barrows weapons. This achievement is possible in any team size, with 4-5 man being highly recommended. Lower team size completions are possible, but means a significant struggle.
Roles are fundamentally the same: Melee DPS, Range DPS, North Freeze and South Freeze, and each player performs the same actions as in regular runs while fighting The Maiden of Sugadinti and Nylocas Vasilias.
Meleers should opt for Guthan's Warspear with strongest melee gear available. Dharok's Greataxe with its respective full set results in higher damage output, however, it requires staying at lower HP thresholds. Rangers and magers are locked with Karil's crossbow and Ahrim's staff respectively.
One or two players should bring Serpentine helm to inflict poison to Nylocas Athanatos. An alternative poison method is casting Smoke spells, although this is highly inconsistent and less practical.
It is possible to bring runes for Surge spells and Vulnerability to considerably speed up the raid, which is only possible with Magic cape. All bosses in the raid are susceptible to Vulnerability's defence reduction, except for Sotetseg and Verzik Vitur.
Main differences with regular Theatre of Blood completions will be listed below.
The Maiden of Sugadinti
For the most part this encounter is similar to regular runs. All players should melee except for the ranger, since ranged results in higher DPS compared to any other style.
When attacking Nylocas Matomenos, consider using Torag's hammers instead of the spear for more consistent damage output.
If the player decides to autocast Ice Barrage with Ahrim the Blighted's equipment with Amulet of the damned, keep in mind that unequipping the staff cancels the autocast setting.
Pestilent Bloat
This encounter is almost identical as in regular runs. Make sure to play safe, as each death means less supplies, which will be more noticeable than usual runs during this challenge.
Nylocas Vasilias
Meleers in this room should use Torag's hammers to deal with both small and large Nylocas Ischyros. Previous strategies involved using Avernic defender and punch/kick them, however, this is a slighly inferior method due to the better hit distribution the hammer's double hitsplats provide.
Rangers should exclusively focus on Nylocas Toxobolos, while magers should Ice barrage their respective Nylocas Hagios and any other Nylocas whenever possible.
Sotetseg
Before entering the boss room, make sure each member has their respective corners, while having on each east/west side at least one Serpentine helm user. This will help later on when fighting Verzik Vitur in order to deal with their Nylocas summons. It's possible for just one single player to bring the helmet, although this will make their job harder and might put the completion at risk. Two players bringing the helmet is ideal.
All players should melee, although magers can choose to autocast Ancient magicks, as its damage heavily competes with other roles, potentially surpassing it.
Chest room
Before proceding, each player should have 7 or 8 Super restore(4). Unlike regular runs, it's imperative all players have one Stamina potion(4).
It's possible to drop Karil's crossbow and Magic cape for additional supplies.
Xarpus
All players should melee. Magers with Magic cape can cast Wind Surge because of Xarpus 50% air elemental weakness (see: Mage (swap spellbook) below). This doesn't require moving back and forth and potentially missing attacks, and gives more breathing room for meleeing players while they're attacking and moving.
Rangers should avoid using Karil's crossbow, unless Xarpus surrounding tiles are completely covered in poison.
Verzik Vitur
Once again all players should melee.
- Part 1: Torag's hammers is the strongest weapon for this achievement. Players without hammers should punch or kick instead.
- Part 2: Magers can choose to either melee or cast spells from a distance, while all other players melee.
- Part 3: At this point Verzik has 50% fire elemental weakness, making Fire Surge a strong spell to cast on her. Make sure all players are constantly using Thralls and if needed wait for yellow safespots before pushing below 20% HP to have easier time with the tornadoes.
If a player dies at any point while fighting Verzik, the achievement will not be awarded to the player that died.
Equipment
Oathplate armour is the best option for completing this challenge. Dharok the Wretched's equipment offers better melee damage output than Oathplate armour, as long as player health stays lower than 62, although this adds considerable risk while fighting Verzik Vitur, where players must stay alive to succesfully finish the achievement.
Bringing full Guthan the infested's equipment, despite granting large amounts of healing, results in poor damage output, thus slowing completion times by several minutes.

Inventory
- Karil's crossbow with Necklace of rupture to deal range damage against Nylocas Vasilias. Additional range switches are not necessary.
- Torag's hammers double hitsplat results in an exceptional weapon against Nylocas Ischyros and Verzik Vitur first form.
- Serpentine helm to deal with Nylocas Athanatos. Only one or two players need to bring it.
- Guthix rest(4) for tick eating.
- Rune pouch, with runes to cast Resurrection spells and a Book of the dead.
- Optional: Locator orb or Dwarven rock cake to maintain low health with Dharok's equipment. Bring 1-2 additional Guthix rest for small healing to preserve low health in order to maximize damage, replacing Saradomin Brews.
Masori equipment offers best ranged DPS, assuming the player only brings few range switches. Elite Void Knight equipment offers higher dps even without defence reduction, but it requires having ranged items in multiple slots to reach this DPS potential, using valuable inventory space. Lastly, Karil the Tainted's equipment in conjunction of Amulet of the damned offers the highest max hit possible, but it's inconsistent and with lower accuracy than Masori set, resulting in lower DPS overall.
Additional switches for cape, hand, and ring slots are optional, however, bringing as many supplies as possible might be more beneficial than the additional damage and accuracy gained from filling them.

- Melee switches. Either bring Serpentine helm as a main helmet, or a better helmet if serpentines are covered. Optionally bring both.
- Armadyl brew(4) is a great source of healing without requiring to drink Super restore doses afterward. Use these during The Maiden of Sugadinti and the Nylocas Vasilias encounter, as ranged isn't needed later in the raid.
- Guthix rest(4) for tick eating.
- Rune pouch, with runes to cast Resurrection spells and a Book of the dead.
Ahrim the Blighted's equipment in conjunction of the Amulet of the damned offers good damage output, together with the possibility of autocasting Ice barrage. On the other hand, both Ancestral robes and Virtus robes offer slightly higher DPS, but without the possibility of autocasting.
It's worth noting that anytime Ahrim's staff is unequipped, the selected autocast is disabled.

- Optional: Saturated heart.
With the introduction and expansion of Elemental weakness, players can use Wind surge and Fire surge as a primary source of damage when fighting Xarpus (50% air weakness), and Verzik Vitur 2nd and 3rd form (50% fire weakness while on her final form). Considering mager's role is to freeze Nylocas Matomenos during Maiden's encounter, using surge spells is only possible by carrying a Magic cape, allowing to switch from one spellbook to another up to 5 times. This means the method can only be used limited amount of times per day.
With Confliction gauntlets, Ahrim the Blighted's equipment set effect together with Amulet of the damned offers best magic DPS when casting surge spells, while also allowing to autocast ancient magicks. The high accuracy provided from the gauntlets also makes Ice barrage autocasting compete with melee against Sotetseg.
Standard spellbook allows the use of Vulnerability, which reduces target defence by 10% (or 15% with Tome of water), shortening the raid duration by a reasonable amount. This is the only defence reduction method available during this combat achievement. It cannot be cast against Sotetseg and Verzik Vitur in any of her forms. Bringing Dust runes allows to cast this spell without wasting extra inventory space.
