Ghommal's hilt 5 is a teleportation item obtained from Ghommal or Laidee Gnonock after obtaining 1945 combat achievement points and claiming it from the Combat Achievements system. It can be attached to the Avernic defender to create Ghommal's Avernic defender 5, which combines the functions of both. The teleport gains a unique animation in this tier compared to the lower tiered hilts, where the swords surrounding the player are modelled after a dragon longsword.

Multiple copies of the hilt can be claimed from Ghommal or Laidee Gnonock if desired, without any additional costs, even if higher tiers have been earned.

If you drop down to the elite tier from the master tier, the item is not deleted, but it cannot be equipped until the master tier is unlocked again. Attempting to equip it without having the master tier displays the message You need to have completed the Master tier of Combat Achievement rewards to use this item..

After obtaining the hilt, the player unlocks the Combat Achievement rewards for that tier. Unless otherwise stated, a hilt does not have to be equipped for bonuses to apply.

• Unlimited teleports to the God Wars Dungeon entrance (by the large boulder)
• A 5% increased chance to receive easy, medium, hard, and elite clue scrolls from all sources (excluding implings)
• 200% bonus Warrior tokens from the Warriors’ Guild
• Gain three additional Void Knight commendation points per game of Pest Control
• No longer affected by the Prayer drain effect at Barrows while Ghommal's Hilt is equipped
• The Dwarven multicannon can hold up to 60 steel cannonballs
• Ability to create a dragon hunter crossbow (b) and dragon hunter crossbow (t) by combining a dragon hunter crossbow with Kbd heads or Vorkath's head respectively
• Imbues at Nightmare Zone and Soul Wars cost 50% fewer points
• Ghommal can make players a Tztok slayer helmet
• Bracelets of slaughter and expeditious bracelets have a 10% chance to fully recharge instead of breaking
• Superior slayer monsters spawn rate increased from 1/200 to 1/150

• An antique lamp worth 35,000 experience in any skill above 60
• Five daily teleports to Mor Ul Rek (south-east of the inner city bank) via the hilt
• Like a boss slayer unlock will now allow players to have up to 60 boss kills when assigned a boss task
• Slayer tasks to kill TzTok-Jad or TzKal-Zuk are increased to 2 kills per task
• God Wars Dungeon benefits:
  • God Wars Dungeon boss entrances now require 25 follower kill count to enter instead of 30
  • Ecumenical key drop rate is now increased from 1/50 to 1/45
  • Coin cost for God Wars Dungeon private instances is reduced from 125,000 to 100,000 coins
• Ghommal can make players a vampyric slayer helmet
• Summoned thralls last 100% longer than normal
• Ability to create Ghommal's avernic defender 5 by combining it with an Avernic defender
• Ghommal's lucky penny
  • While equipped offers a 5% chance to not use a charge when using items that consume charges (such as jewellery and weapons)

• Attempting to use the Mor Ul Rek teleport without having unlocked the inner city gives the message You need to have shown a fire cape to Tzhaar-Ket to use this teleport.
