• Prior to 30 April 2015 (Update), players were able to complete the "Make a rune crossbow yourself from scratch" task by doing sub-tasks (e.g. fletching a yew stock) multiple times, then using runite limbs they'd bought to produce the final product, bypassing the level 91 smithing requirement. Accounts that completed that task prior to the update, but have not yet claimed a cloak, must attain or boost to 91 smithing when claiming it.
• Using items other than a Max cape on the cloak returns the message "That doesn't seem to do what you want it to." as opposed to the usual "Nothing interesting happens.".
