The explorer's ring 3 is a reward from completing the hard Lumbridge & Draynor Diary. The ring is received from Hatius Cosaintus in Lumbridge, and can be retrieved from him for free if lost.

Whenever the energy restore function is used, a message appears in the player's chatbox displaying how many uses are left for that day. Upgrading from an explorer's ring 2 resets the number of energy restore charges in the explorer's ring 3, regardless of how many charges were left in the former. The number of low alchemy charges is not reset. The Check option will send a chatbox message with the amount of energy restores and alchemy casts remaining for that day.

Benefits

A player teleporting with the Explorer's ring.
  • Cast Low Level Alchemy (requires Magic level 21) without using any runes 30 times per day (however, does not grant any Magic XP for casting)
  • 50% run energy replenish 4 times a day
  • Unlimited teleports to cabbage patch near Falador farm

A number of other benefits are always active upon claiming rewards from the hard tier of the Lumbridge and Draynor diary.

Trivia

  • Attempting to use the ring's own Alchemy spell on it will fail, instead saying You see no reason to cast on this item.
    • Casting the spell normally with runes will still work, although it will yield no coins.
