The ring of dueling is a teleportation ring that may be made by casting Lvl-2 Enchant on an emerald ring, granting 37 Magic experience. A full ring of dueling will provide 8 teleports before it crumbles away into nothing.

When teleporting using the ring, the message You rub the ring... will be displayed, followed by a message with the number of charges remaining, ex. Your ring of dueling has four uses left. If using the last charge on the ring, the message Your ring of dueling crumbles to dust. will be displayed instead.

Due to the low cost of the ring, many players use it to bank quickly at the Castle Wars chest. Furthermore, the Ferox Enclave teleport allows a player to use the Pool of Refreshment whilst gaining full health, prayer and run energy, although the Ferox Enclave teleport places the player slightly farther away from a bank chest.

Each charge costs 113.88 coins if all 8 charges are used, 45.43 if using High Level Alchemy (as described below), or 81.86 if using Low Level Alchemy. Alternatively, Explorer's ring can be used 30 times per day for a cost of 57.29. This is viable if fewer than 210 charges are used on average each day, though it gives no Magic experience.

Because the high alchemy value is the same regardless of the number of charges, some of the cost of usage can be reclaimed by alching when one charge remains.

• Despite RuneScape following British English variations of spelling, ring of dueling uses the American spelling as opposed to "duelling".
