The royal seed pod is rewarded to the player by King Narnode Shareen after completing Monkey Madness II. Like the grand seed pod, this item can be used to teleport the player to the Grand Tree. Unlike the grand seed pod, the royal seed pod is not consumed upon use and never runs out of charges. When successfully teleporting with the royal seed pod, the message The Royal seed pod teleports you to the Grand Tree. will be displayed.

Unlike most teleports, which stop working above level 20 Wilderness, the royal seed pod is among the few items whose teleports can still be used up to level 30 Wilderness; as an easily replaceable item with a one-click teleport, many players prefer the royal seed pod for emergency escape. A 3-tick teleport delay is applied in the Revenant Caves and Wilderness boss lairs before completion of the Wilderness hard diary.
