The elysian spirit shield is an item which can be retrieved from Nieve's remains during Monkey Madness II after Glough becomes mutated. The shield disintegrated as a result of Glough's devastating attack on the Slayer master.

It serves as a joke item, as the real shield is widely coveted among high level players. There are no uses for the ruined shield, and it cannot be deposited into a bank. The ruined shield is always lost on death.
