The ring of stone is an enchanted onyx ring. It can change the avatar of the player to look like that of a stone or empty Mining rock. If the player moves while under the effect, the effect will end. If another player mouses over or right-clicks on the player-turned-rock, the normal options will appear ("Walk here (Player name)," "Follow (Player name)," etc.).

Players take this form when the ring is active.

Trivia

The ring of stone can be used instead of a piece of granite to free King Arthur during the King's Ransom quest, provided the animate rock scroll and Holy Grail are brought along as well.^[1]
Previously, there was a myth that this ring could protect players from Jad's falling rock attack.
