Jarr is located at Shantay Pass, just south of Al Kharid. Players can begin the Desert Diaries by speaking to him. He also awards players the Desert amulet for completing easy, medium, hard and elite tasks.

11 May 2022 (Update)	Jarr now states the correct amount of maximum charges for the Pharaoh's sceptre when discussing rewards for the Desert Diary.
24 March 2016 (Update \| poll)	It is now also possible to get multiple copies of achievement diary equipment by talking to relevant diary masters or by talking to Perdu, found upstairs in the Edgeville general store. Perdu will charge a small fee.
25 February 2016 (Update)	A misspelling of "Pharaoh" in Jarr's dialogue has been corrected.
12 March 2015 (Update)	Information on achievement diary rewards is now available from each of the taskmasters at any time rather than only when you complete a diary.
