A soul cape is a cape obtained from the Soul Wars minigame, costing 2,500 Zeal Tokens to purchase from the reward shop. It requires level 70 Prayer to purchase and equip, and offers the highest Prayer bonus in the cape slot. It is visually identical to the capes that are given to players upon entering a round in the Soul Wars minigame, however, the capes inside the minigame do not have any bonuses.

It is worth noting that even though the capes act as Ava's Devices in the minigame after showing any variety Ava's device to Nomad, the reward cape does not have this effect throughout Gielinor.

Players can right-click "Toggle-colour" to switch between the cape's two colours.

This item can be stored in the cape rack of a costume room.

If the player dies (including in PvP) and the cape is unprotected, it will be sent to the gravestone.

Trivia

The Soul cape resembles the design of the blue cape and red cape from RuneScape 3, which are given as a reward after the grandmaster quest Nomad's Requiem. Strangely, the Soul cape was (potentially mistakenly) styled after the updated versions of the capes that were implemented upon the release of the Evolution of Combat to fit the newly proportioned character model, rather than the original design of the capes from the release of Soul Wars which were made to fit the character model that still exists in Old School. As a result the Soul cape appears stylistically different and disproportionately longer than other capes in game.
