The initiate hauberk is a piece of Temple knight armour. It requires 20 Defence, 10 Prayer, and completion of Recruitment Drive to equip. It provides a small prayer bonus equal to the Monk's robe top while retaining the defensive bonuses of a Mithril platebody. It is commonly used during Slayer tasks that require the use of protection prayers.

It can be purchased from Sir Tiffy Cashien in Falador Park for 10,000 coins, but is usually much cheaper to buy from the Grand Exchange.

Wearing the initiate hauberk does NOT interfere with Ava's Devices.

This item can be stored in the armour case of a costume room, as part of the initiate armour set. Ultimate Ironmen will be unable to retrieve individual pieces until the full set is stored.
