Group ironman platebody is a platebody obtainable only by players who chose to be a standard group ironman in Group Ironman game mode. It is obtained by using the Armour right-click option on the Group Ironman tutor. It has equivalent stats to an iron platebody, which is the best melee armour a starting player can use.

If the group size changes, and the player attempts to equip the platebody, it will crumble to dust with the following message in game chat: "The platebody crumbles to dust as you attempt to equip it. You can get a new one from an Ironman tutor.". The player will indeed have to get a new one from the Ironman tutor in Lumbridge (NOT the Group Ironman tutor in The Node).
