The Inquisitor's hauberk is a drop from The Nightmare, requiring 70 Strength and 30 Defence to equip, and is part of the Inquisitor's armour set.

When equipped, the hauberk boosts damage and accuracy by 1% when using the crush attack style. In addition, it counts as a Zamorakian item in God Wars Dungeon.

Once belonging to "The Inquisitor", a former Saradominist Justiciar and one of the founders of Slepe, the Inquisitor's armour had remained sealed in the Sisterhood Sanctuary deep beneath Slepe until The Nightmare's arrival unearthed it.^[1]

This item can be stored in the armour case of a costume room, as part of the Inquisitor's armour set. Ultimate Ironmen will be unable to retrieve individual pieces until the full set is stored.

Date	Changes
22 July 2026 (Update)	The inquisitor's hauberk has received the following changes, to match the oathplate chest as its crush-focused equivalent: Crush attack bonus increased from +12 to +16. Stab and slash bonus increased from -3 to +0. Set effect of +2.5% crush damage and accuracy has been redistributed among each piece of the set, with the hauberk's bonus being increased from 0.5% to 1%. The additional bonus given when the inquisitor's mace is equipped has been redirected to the mace's combat stats.
25 September 2024 (Update)	The damage and accuracy bonuses will now apply to the inquisitor's mace with individual pieces equipped.
29 May 2024 (Update)	The set effect is now tripled if the inquisitor's mace is equipped.
16 April 2020 (Update \| poll)	Inquisitor's armour was given a set effect.
