With level 87 Sailing, Frost dragons can be fought within the Grimstone Dungeon.
They may be assigned as a Slayer task by Nieve/Steve or Duradel/Kuradal. Being on task increases the drop rate of dragon metal sheets from 1/100 to 1/40.
Unlike chromatic dragons, frost dragons are weakest to crush, then stab, rather than stab alone. They have a 100% elemental weakness to fire spells rather than the usual 50% to water, and while heavy ranged remains the best ranged option, they are more resistant to ranged attacks overall. As with all dragons, they are weak to dragonbane weapons.
Attacks
Like chromatic dragons, frost dragons only use melee and short-ranged dragonfire, meaning they can be safespotted. Alternatively, Protect from Melee combined with full dragonfire protection will nullify all damage.
Their dragonfire is icy, and will freeze the player for a short time if not protected against. Unlike wyverns, their icy dragonbreath is fully negated by normal means of dragonfire protection.

Transportation
The fastest way to get to frost dragons is by using fairy ring DLP, after visiting Grimstone at least once. Grimstone can also be reached quickly via a boat moored at it with a greater teleport focus, or simply sailed to from a nearby port, such as Weiss.

Equipment
Like most dragons, frost dragons are weak to stab and dragonbane. However, due to their icy bodies, frost dragons are also extra weak to crush. In Max, one of either Inquisitor Hauberk or Plateskirt should be worn, with the other piece Torva, to retain a 61 Lance max. Hauberk is marginally better.
Like most dragons, frost dragons are weak to bolts and dragonbane. However, they are less resistant to arrows (compared to bolts) than other dragons.
Frost dragons are incredibly weak to fire, making fire spells a powerful option.
