Searing pages are an upgraded variant of burnt pages made by adding 100 sunfire runes to one page. When used on a tome of fire to charge it, the tome gains a 10% minimum hit on their target when casting any standard spellbook's fire spells. However, the minimum hit is based on the player’s maximum hit before the tome’s 10% damage boost is applied. For example, a player with a pre-tome maximum hit of 19 would have a minimum hit of 1 when using sunfire runes. If the player equips a tome charged with searing pages, the maximum hit will be boosted to 20, but the minimum hit will remain 1.

Each searing page adds 20 charges to the tome, and one charge is consumed when an elemental fire spell is cast with the tome equipped. Players may remove the pages from the tome should they wish to do so.

Searing pages are more cost-effective for Fire Wave/Surge when using Sunfire runes. Fire Wave consumes 7 fire runes per cast. One searing page (20 charges) therefore replaces 140 fire runes, saving 40 Sunfire runes (28%). Fire Surge consumes 10 fire runes per cast. One searing page (20 charges) therefore replaces 200 fire runes, saving 100 Sunfire runes (50%).
