Minotaur is a monster fought in the Fortis Colosseum, using melee attacks that can hit up to 74. They begin to spawn in as reinforcements through waves 7–11, with a serpent shaman spawning alongside it on waves 10 and 11. Unlike the jaguar warrior, minotaurs will immediately move upon spawning despite not having visually appeared.
If the player is not within melee distance (including diagonally) the minotaur will attempt to heal other wounded monsters to full health within 6 tiles of it. Specifically the minotaur will heal another monster if:[1]
- The monster's health is below 75%
- The monster's centre tile is within line of sight and no more than 7 tiles away from the minotaur's centre tile
Like Vardorvis, the minotaur can be tick eaten, as its damage is calculated one tick later than its attack animation despite being a melee attack. If standing next to a minotaur as it spawns to prevent it from healing on waves 10 and 11, the serpent shaman will spawn in the centre of the colosseum instead, allowing them to be off-ticked.
If the Red Flag handicap is active, minotaurs will gain the ability to routefind which allows it to move around obstacles and becoming impossible to safespot. When using RuneLite plugins which make use of NPC IDs, the minotaur comes in two variants: one without Red Flag, and the other with.
These minotaurs do not count for a minotaur Slayer task.

Trivia
- The minotaur is a legendary creature from Greek mythology that had the head of a bull and the body of a man, which dwelled within the Labyrinth of the Cretan King Minos. It was slain by the Greek hero Theseus in order to halt Athenian sacrifices of children as a war indemnity to Crete.
