The dragonbone necklace is a necklace that is dropped exclusively by Vorkath. Wearing the necklace requires level 70 in Prayer, and currently offers the highest Prayer bonus of any piece of equipment available in Old School RuneScape.

When worn, it will restore Prayer points as bones are buried (even if buried via the bonecrusher). This effect does not stack with the Catacombs of Kourend Prayer restoration effect, and does not grant Prayer points for scattering demonic ashes.

The dragonbone necklace can be combined with the bonecrusher and a hydra tail to create the bonecrusher necklace, which combines the effects of both the dragonbone necklace and the bonecrusher.

The amount of points restored are as follows:

Bones, Burnt bones, Monkey bones, Wolf bones, and Bat bones restore 1 prayer point.
Big bones, Jogre bones, Zogre bones, Wyrmling bones, Shaikahan bones, and Small ninja monkey bones restore 2 prayer points.
Baby dragon bones, Bull bones, Wyrm bones, and Strykewyrm bones restore 3 prayer points.
Dragon, Frost dragon, Wyvern, Drake, Dagannoth, Hydra, Fayrg, Raurg, and Lava dragon bones restore 4 prayer points.
Superior dragon bones, Giant bones, and Ourg bones restore 5 prayer points.

21 April 2021 (Update)	Equipping the necklace now requires level 70 Prayer instead of 80. The prayer restore effect now activates instantly rather than nine seconds after it being equipped. Attack bonuses have been increased from 0 to 10. Defence bonuses have been increased from 0 to 2. Strength bonus has been increased from 0 to 2.
25 January 2018 (Update \| poll)	Prayer bonus increased from 6 to 12. The necklace no longer reduces prayer points by half when equipped. Instead, the prayer restore effect does not activate until nine seconds have passed; this is done to prevent players equipping another necklace and only swapping to the necklace each time they kill a monster just for the prayer restoration effect.
