Strykewyrm bones are bones dropped by lava and magma strykewyrms, which give 60 Prayer experience when buried. This can be increased by offering the bones in different ways:
- 180 XP when casting Sinister Offering.
- 180 XP when offered at the sacred bone burner after the appropriate faith level has been achieved.
- 210 XP when offered at a gilded altar with two burners lit.
- 200 XP when offered at the Ectofuntus in the form of Wyrm bonemeal. (Strykewyrm bonemeal is not obtainable as strykewyrm bones currently only create wyrm bonemeal.)
- 185 XP when blessed and broken down into blessed bone shards and offered at the libation bowl, or 222 XP when offered with a jug of blessed sunfire wine. Virilis outside the altar will exchange noted bones for 10 coins each.
- 420 XP on average when offered at the Chaos Temple in the Wilderness. Each offering gives 210 XP, which is the same as the gilded altar with two burners lit, but with an additional 50% chance to not consume the bones.
These bones can't be used with the Standard Spellbook spell "Bones to Peaches". Any attempt to do so will result in the following message: "The bones you're holding aren't suitable for peachifying."
