Wolf bones are an item obtained by killing a wolf or werewolf. Wolf bones have various uses, including in skills (such as Prayer, Fletching, Crafting) and in some quests.
Wolf bones look very similar to regular bones, except wolf bones are slightly more greyish in colour.

Uses
Prayer
Wolf bones give 4.5 Prayer experience when buried. This can be increased by offering the bones in different ways:
- 13.5 XP when casting Sinister Offering.
- 13.5 XP when offered at the Sacred Bone Burner after the appropriate faith level has been achieved.
- 15.7 XP when offered at a gilded altar with two burners lit or at the Chaos Temple.
- 18 XP when offered at the Ectofuntus in the form of wolf bonemeal.
Wolf bones cannot be used on the Exposed altar in The Teomat.
Fletching
Members can also use a chisel on wolf bones to produce wolfbone arrowtips, used in Fletching to tip ogre arrows. Players must partially complete Big Chompy Bird Hunting in order to fletch the arrowtips.
This produces 2 to 6 arrowtips, and grants 2.5 Fletching and Crafting experience per arrowtip created. Using the arrowtips to produce the ogre arrows gives 2.5 Fletching experience per arrowtip. Making an Unstrung comp bow requires one achey tree log and wolf bones.
