Description	Rantz the Ogre needs to feed his demanding children, Fycie and Bugs, so he wants to go Big Chompy Bird hunting. Problem is, he's all fingers and thumbs when it comes to making ogre arrows. Could someone please give him a hand?

Items required	Any axe that you can use (Blessed axe does not work) Feathers (100 to be safe; coloured feathers from Hunter work) Bringing 50 to buy 25 feathers from Fycie also works Knife (or 10 to buy a knife and chisel from Bugs) Chisel (or 10 to buy a knife and chisel from Bugs) 4 wolf bones (obtainable during the quest from level 65 wolves or from level 14 wolves in the Stronghold of Security) Cabbage (obtainable during the quest, Draynor cabbage will not work) Tomato (obtainable during the quest) Onion (obtainable during the quest) Potato (obtainable during the quest) Equa leaves (obtainable during the quest) Doogle leaves (obtainable during the quest)

Walkthrough

Getting started

Talk to Rantz East-north-east of Feldip Hills (fairy ring AKS). ( 1)…

Fletching some arrows

Note: You must make the arrows yourself to progress.

Chop down at least 3 achey trees immediately south-west of Rantz.
Use a knife on the logs to make ogre arrow shafts.
Use 100 feathers on the ogre arrow shafts.
Obtain 4 wolf bones (south-west from Rantz).
Use a chisel on the bones.
Use the wolfbone arrowtips on the flighted ogre arrows.
Use the ogre arrows on Rantz.

Bloated toads

Ask Rantz all possible questions. ( 1•2•3•4•5)…

3 Where do we put the fatsy toadies?
4 What do you mean 'sneaky..sneaky, stick da chompy?'
5 Ok, thanks.
Enter the cave north of Rantz.
Attempt to unlock the chest until it opens and search it to obtain ogre bellows.
At the nearby swamp (south-west), look for swamp bubbles and click on them to fill up the ogre bellow.
Use the ogre bellows on a swamp toad to obtain a "bloated toad".
- Collect 3 Bloated toads to save you a trip in future. You can only hold 3 at one time.

Hunting

Talk to Rantz.
Drop a bloated toad where the arrow points.
- It should be noted that it may take some time for the chompy bird to appear even after the arrow disappears, however the dropped toad will eventually burst. If this happens, simply drop another bloated toad in the clearing.
Talk to Rantz again and wait for the chompy bird to appear.
After Rantz fires his bow, talk to him to receive an ogre bow. ( 2•1)…

If you are fast enough, you can attempt to kill the chompy bird that Rantz tried to hunt. Otherwise, place another toad in the clearing.
- Kill the chompy bird that appears with the ogre bow.
Pluck the carcass and take the raw chompy.
Talk to Rantz.

Cooking the bird

Seasoning locations.

Go back into the cave and talk to Fycie and Bugs.
Obtain the ingredients that they've asked for. The image on this page shows their location.
Use the raw chompy on the spit-roast north of Rantz (the fire outside of the cave).
Talk to Rantz.
Congratulations, quest complete!
