Imre is one of the citizens of Canifis. He can be found in the Hair of the Dog pub. If you are not wielding a wolfbane dagger when you attack, he will turn into a werewolf. He is more friendly if you are wearing a ring of Charos, and appears to be enthusiastic about onions.

He is the only citizen of Canifis who says different statements from the rest of the citizens; if you are wearing a ring of Charos he will talk mostly about onions. He cannot be killed as part of a werewolf Slayer task in his human form.

Trivia

Imre was named after Mod Hobagoly, whose given name is Imre. The strong interest in onions revealed by Imre's dialogue is a reference to the particular fondness for this root vegetable attributed to Mod Hobagoly.^[2]
