A long bone is a drop from various monsters, typically those that also drop big bones, at a nearly universal rate of 1/400.[1] It can also drop as a regular drop from both the crazy and deranged archaeologists at a much higher rate.
After completion of Death to the Dorgeshuun, long bones may be sold to Barlak in Dorgesh-Kaan for 1,000 coins each. If the player has 
Long bones can be buried for 15.1 Prayer experience, but this is not recommended. Burying a long bone in the Catacombs of Kourend will restore 2 prayer points, the same as big bones.
The bonecrusher will not automatically bury the bone, allowing the player to pick it up. Bones to Bananas and Bones to Peaches will not convert long bones. Long bones cannot be used on the Exposed altar in The Teomat. Long bones cannot be sacrificed with Sinister Offering, giving the message You could find something better to do with your special bone.
It would take 2,894 long bones to level Construction from 30 to 99.
