Cupric sulfate is a quest item used only in Recruitment Drive. It is found in a bookcase in Miss Cheevers's trial.

It is used on the stone door when the metal spade is inserted into the hole. A vial of liquid is used after to expand the spade in order to use it as a door handle. If combined incorrectly with other chemicals, it may result in a ??? mixture or a strange tin.

After leaving the room, all copies in the inventory are deleted.

• Cupric sulfate is a salt better known as copper(II) sulfate, with the chemical formula . It is a white powder which is often used as a reagent to detect water since it changes in colour from white to blue when wet.
