The imbued zamorak cape is obtained from imbuing a Zamorak cape with the items dropped by Justiciar Zachariah, Porazdir, and Derwen, during the Mage Arena II miniquest, requiring 75 Magic. Subsequent imbues will require only the demon's heart, or 250,000 to purchase from the Lost Property shop.

This cape, along with the imbued Saradomin and Guthix capes, provides the best in slot magic attack and magic damage bonus for the cape slot.

Despite the update newspost stating that the cape is always lost upon death (excluding safe deaths and services that offer an item reclaim function, such as Zulrah via Priestess Zul-Gwenwynig and the Grotesque Guardians via the magical chest), the cape, like most untradeable equipment, is automatically protected upon death in dangerous PvM scenarios outside of the Wilderness.

If the player dies a PvP death and the item is unprotected, it will remain in the player's inventory; however, the item will be in a broken, unusable state and must be repaired by using it on Perdu and paying him 96,000 coins.

The imbued Zamorak cape can be combined with the max cape to change its appearance by turning it into the imbued zamorak max cape.

You may obtain all 3 god capes imbued at the same time. After completing the miniquest, you may return with duplicates of any dropped items by Justiciar Zachariah, Porazdir, and Derwen.

This item can be stored in the cape rack of a costume room.

12 September 2019 (Update)	The cape is now returned in a broken form below level 20 Wilderness and can be repaired by bringing it to Perdu.
23 November 2017 (Update)	Hotfix Players can no longer obtain additional imbued god capes without giving the remains of another god being, and capes obtained in this manner were removed. The imbued god capes can no longer be alchemised. Previously, casting High Level Alchemy resulted in 60,000 coins being given.

Trivia

The cape's design was based on that of a Reddit user named acy2fast.^[1] As a token of thanks, he was given a care package containing a Chambers of Xeric coaster, an Inferno poster, a mousepad, a Deadman t-shirt, and a red mug signed by Mod Ash.^[2]
