A demon's heart was a drop from the Demon of Light. This heart, along with the hearts of darkness and balance from the Demon of Darkness and Demon of Balance respectively, was required to imbue a god cape during the Mage Arena II miniquest.

Subsequent imbues would require only one heart of the player's choice, in which this heart would imbue a Saradomin cape into an imbued saradomin cape.

The demon's heart could not be deposited into a bank, and was always lost upon death, so it was recommended to turn it in to Kolodion as soon as possible.
