Perdu is a travelling dwarven merchant who runs the Lost Property shop. He will return certain reward items to you if he thinks you have lost them, although his prices are higher than what you would pay elsewhere. The items on Perdu's list are things that you normally could get back for free, or for a smaller payment of coins. Payment can be taken from coins in your inventory or straight from your bank.
He will also repair certain breakable items (as well as the rune pouch) or lock some of these breakable items via use of a Trouver parchment to the player with a fee of 500,000 coins. A locked item can also be unlocked by using the item on Perdu again.
Players who completed certain master or grandmaster quests prior to the November 30th 2022 update that increased their experience rewards can claim the majority of the owed experience from Perdu, with the exception of Legends' Quest (claimed from Radimus Erkle), Sins of the Father (claimed from Ivan Strom), and A Night at the Theatre (claimed from the Mysterious Stranger).
Players who wore echo boots prior to the 8 May 2024 update and had their boots forcibly destroyed due to no longer meeting the 75 Defence requirement to wear the boots, had a full inventory and were unable to store the boots in a bank can reclaim their boots from Perdu.

Perdu can be found in the following locations:
- Lumbridge - South tower of the castle wall.
- Catherby - In the house just north of the bank.
- Grand Exchange - North side of the Grand Exchange.
- Edgeville - 1st floor of the general store (inside the bank on PvP and BH worlds).
- Falador - 1st floor of the general store.
- Ferox Enclave - By the bank chest.
- Daimon's Crater - In the lobby.

Trivia
- "Perdu" is French for the word "lost". Along with the trouver parchment, whose name means "find" in French, the names are a play on the phrase "lost and found".
- If coins are used on Perdu, he will say "I see you have some money. Weird flex, but okay."
